Fashion industry experts say the gap toothed trend is due to people getting tired of seeing 'perfection' all the time in fashion ads & on runways.
Models are going to the extent of widening their gap.
Is there any way you would purposely separate your two front teeth?

ReplyDeleteSo far, I haven't seen any dentist that has granted one's wish of purposely creating teeth gaps. However, there's another option I believe which is a fake gap. Most cosplayers use Kryolan tooth enamel paint for teeth gaps (it will stay without fail because it is made for coloring teeth) - they often use it on Halloween.
ReplyDeleteSo you never heard about this story : http://theweek.com/article/index/207498/tyra-banks-beauty-dictate-gap-your-teeth ?
ReplyDeleteCheck it out ..x
Thanks for that link, Cosima. I've actually viewed it, and it's all about fashion for Tyra Banks. And as for these photos, it may be the same as the case of Tyra. Creating a tooth gap in the name of fashion. Anyway, she defined beauty as a mysterious word, and that you can only find it within a person's personality.
ReplyDeleteGap teeth for fashion? This will bring a whole new approach for fashion, guaranteed. Yes, you're right. Fashion is about being unique and appreciating your innate qualities. There is no clear standard indicating what true beauty is. As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
ReplyDeleteThe word "innovative" may not be the right term for it, but the fashion industry is literally getting innovative, especially by recognizing models that have gap teeth as part of their fashion statement. There are ways on how to have one of these, you just have to ask your trusted orthodontist about the procedure for it.
